I am an effective tutor. I’ve worked with SEN students including students with; dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Whether you are looking to increase your grade by a little, or a lot I am here to get you to that full potential. I specialise in teaching GCSE maths and have led many students to get top grades. I work based on the students’ needs and I am very much able to adapt to their preferred learning style. I use exam questions from your exam board and continue to practice topics with you until you are fluent As I am a visual learner myself, I work with students particularly through diagrams, visual aids and in depth examples, drawn on interactive whiteboards as well as analogies to explain concepts required for their curriculum and more importantly, the final exam. Practice exam and past paper questions are key to unlocking the higher grades, and so I always integrate questions throughout the teaching of content during lesson to ensure the student understands and digests what they have learnt properly through application, you will never be short of exam practice in one of my lessons, as that is how the real exam will be like. There is always an open door policy to ask whatever questions you need to, whether that is in or out of lesson time, no question is too big or small. I have a Bachelors and Honours in Chiropractic and have just completed my Masters in Chiropractic, making me a fully qualified practitioner. I am currently studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Warwick, where I get to apply Maths and Physics to real-world technology every day. I tutor A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science. I believe learning should be engaging, and I use my background in practi I am currently pursuing an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Warwick, where I am predicted to achieve a First-Class degree (70%+) across all my modules. Prior to university, I attended KEVI Handsworth Grammar School for Boys from Year 7 to 13, securing straight A and A* grades across both my A-Levels (Maths, Physics, and Computer Science) and my GCSEs (Maths, English Literature and Language, Triple Science, DT, Art, Music, Religious Studies, and Computer Science). As a testament to my academic foundation in STEM, I successfully completed the ESAT during my application cycle, which earned me an interview and a subsequent offer to study Electrical Engineering at Imperial College London, an institution ranked second in the world for engineering.

Psychology is a little different to other subjects covered at A-Level - not only do students have to learn a lot of information and produce it under exam conditions, but there is also a need to analyze and evaluate what has been learned so that they can write clearly, concisely and insightfully. As well as teaching the syllabus content, I can help improve a student's thinking and writing skills so that they can go into exams with more confidence. I have also developed my coaching skills so work with students to help them improve their own problem-solving capabilities so that they can identify how they can study more effectively. A bit about me: I'm a PhD-qualified tutor who, over the course of my career, spent time working as a researcher, consultant and analyst across different industries. In all of those other roles, the part I enjoyed most was training, teaching and coaching people, so I am working towards making that my full-time career. Working in industry has taught me the importance of always turning up prepared and ready to work, using clear, prompt and honest communication and making sure that whoever I am working with knows that I am working in their best interests. The same will apply when we work together. In my spare time I love to play football and follow a lot of sport.
