Hi, I’m Safoora, currently a third-year medical student with a strong passion for education across a range of subjects. Medicine has taught me not just the importance of hard work, but also how to communicate complex ideas clearly and patiently — skills I bring into my tutoring sessions. I tutor GCSE Biology, chemistry, combined science and psychology, as well as KS3 and KS2 Science. I understand that subjects like biology and chemistry can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable, straightforward steps tailored to how each student learns best. I’m genuinely passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding so they’re fully prepared to tackle any challenges they face in exams. I believe learning should be interactive, engaging, and relevant, so I work to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether it’s helping with exam preparation or simply tackling tricky topics, my aim is to support students in developing critical thinking skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading and keeping fit, which help me maintain balance and stay motivated. I received my early education at different primary schools, which provided me with a strong academic foundation. I then completed my GCSEs and pursued A‑levels. I am now currently a third‑year medical student at the University of Nottingham, and alongside my studies I’ve gained experience tutoring students in a range of subjects, helping them build confidence and improve their academic performance.

I am currently an undergraduate at Loughborough University studying Robotics Engineering. I am interested in satellites and fighter jets and mathematics is my favourite subject. I’m an athlete and love fitness, and have been an academic for the longest. I love research and solving very hard maths problems. I love music and everything in between My highest level of qualification is a levels where I studied Mathematics, Maths and Physics as well as taking AS chemistry in year 12. I also took my GCSE’s where I did mathematics and science and further maths gcse with grades ranging from 8-9. Currently I am doing a masters in Robotics, Mechatronics and Control engineering

I am a Medical Doctor on a new journey to further my education. I have approximately 5 years of tutoring experience across the board. I mainly started tutoring as a way to learn and retain the content for good grades. I found that when helping my peers I also helped myself improve my grades. In lower level I have experience tutoring Science and Math while in GCSE and A-Level I tutor Chemistry, Biology and Math. In higher level tutoring, i offer services on any Subject health related eg Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology etc. I offer my services to any student who is willing to learn. I am fluent in speaking and writing English and Swahili. During my leisure time i enjoy reading a novel, spending time with friends, road trips, baking and movies . I am a medical student at UCL with a strong academic background, having achieved A* grades at A-level in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. I have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy helping students understand challenging concepts in a clear and structured way. Having recently completed GCSEs and A-levels myself, I understand current exam specifications, common pitfalls, and effective revision strategies. I am currently studying Medicine at University College London (UCL), a highly academic and research-led medical school. I attended Lancaster Girls’ Grammar School, where I developed a strong academic foundation and a disciplined approach to learning. Throughout my education, I consistently achieved high academic standards, particularly in Maths and the sciences. At A-level, I achieved 3A*, reflecting both my subject knowledge and my ability to manage a demanding workload. I also achieved full marks in my EPQ, which strengthened my independent research, critical thinking, and academic writing skills. This project required analysing complex information, evaluating evidence, and presenting clear, well-structured arguments—skills that are directly transferable to both medicine and teaching. As a current medical student, I continue to build on this strong educational background through rigorous study and application of scientific knowledge. My academic journey has equipped me with excellent organisation, resilience, and communication skills, which I bring into my tutoring by delivering clear explanations, structured lessons, and tailored support to help students achieve their full potential.
