I hold a First Class B.Sc. in Mathematics and Statistics, a degree that has given me a deep understanding of how mathematical thinking shapes real‑world problem‑solving — from designing transport networks through graph theory to using statistical modelling to predict future events. I have been a private maths tutor for over 6 years, supporting students from 11+ through GCSE, A‑Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, including GCSE AQA Further Mathematics and OCR FSMQ Additional Mathematics. I also tutor 11+ Maths and Non‑Verbal Reasoning. My students consistently achieve excellent results, with 90% securing a place at their first‑choice school, or obtaining grade 9/A* in GCSE Mathematics and A-level Mathematics. Additional, I hold a DipABRSM (now ARSM) in piano performance and grade 8 in classical guitar. During my university studies and undergraduate research, I specialised in pure & applied mathematics, statistics, statistical & data analysis, and machine learning. I am proficient in a range of software including R, Python, SPSS, MiniTab, SQL, and MatLab.

Hi I’m Krithi! I’m a friendly and enthusiastic tutor who enjoys helping students become more confident in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I know that some topics can feel overwhelming, so I like to break them down into simple steps and explain them in different ways until they make sense. I’m patient, approachable and encourage students to ask questions and learn from mistakes. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy swimming and spending time with my family and friends. I’m really looking forward to helping students achieve their goals and enjoy their learning journey! I attended Highfields School, where I completed my GCSEs achieving all 7s, 8s and 9s, and subsequently studied A-level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, achieving AAA. I am now preparing to begin my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Birmingham. My main academic specialisations are Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, with a particular interest in Biology and the biomedical sciences. I am particularly interested in how scientific knowledge can be applied to understand the human body and disease. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting and tutoring younger students, including helping Year 11 students with their GCSE preparation. This has taught me how important it is to adapt explanations to each student's individual needs and learning style. Hello! My name is Elyn and I am studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Liverpool as a second year undergraduate. I have been a tutor for around a year and half teaching 14-16 year olds and prepping students for their GCSEs. I have a great fondness for teaching, as education has always been a big aspect of my life. I love learning and encouraging others to learn STEM in a more intriguing way. I will be open to teaching GCSE and A level economics, maths and physics. Other facts about me is that I scrapbook, I indulge in art as a creative outlet and competed in the Industrial Cadets Gold project during Year 12. I completed my GCSEs at Cecil Jones Academy and gained 9-5s in: design & technology, Mandarin, maths, chemistry, biology, physics, business, English literature, English language, geography and religious studies. I finished my A levels at Greensward Academy and gained: A at economics, B in maths and C in physics. I am now attending the University of Liverpool studying Product Design Engineering as a first year undergraduate. During my time in sixth form I competed in the Industrial Cadets Gold Project in a group of 6 gaining the "Best Concept Design" and "Most Innovative Project" award. As part of my work experience I have been a tutor for a year and a half and did a 3 week placement for a railway electrification company. These experiences has given a lot of independence and team working skills which I hope may inspire future students.
