I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.

I am a fully English-educated student with a strong academic background in Mathematics. I achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics and have over 3 years of tutoring experience, completing 300+ hours of lessons. I have helped many GCSE Maths students improve their grades, with several achieving Grade 8s and 9s. I also participated in the UK Maths Challenge, achieving the highest score in my school, which developed my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Teaching Style My teaching style is student-centred, patient, and adaptable. I first identify the areas a student finds difficult and then break each topic down into simple, manageable steps. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice before encouraging students to tackle questions independently. I place particular emphasis on exam technique. I help students understand different question types, show their working clearly, avoid common mistakes, and apply their knowledge to unfamiliar problems. I adapt each lesson to the student's ability and goals, whether they are aiming to secure a pass or achieve a Grade 8 or 9. Proudest Achievements One of my proudest achievements is helping many GCSE Maths students achieve Grade 8s and 9s. Seeing students progress from struggling with a topic to confidently answering exam-style questions is extremely rewarding and is one of the main reasons I enjoy tutoring. I am currently studying Medicine. My education has provided me with a strong foundation in Mathematics, science, and analytical problem-solving. I achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics and have over 3 years of tutoring experience, with more than 300 hours of teaching. During this time, I have specialised in GCSE Mathematics, working with students of different abilities and helping many students achieve Grade 8s and 9s.
