I have been teaching since 6 years in the field of Mathematics from Primary Level to A-Level. But in 2020, i switched to online mode of teaching to reach the students across the globe. I love to teach the topics through practical examples so students can connect to the real world problems. I always try to create a friendly atmosphere in the classroom so that studies wouldn't seem like a burden. I'm highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all children to be successful learners. I have three degrees ; Masters in Mathematics, Bachelor in Mathematics (honours) and Bachelor in Education. Because of the love in the subject, I can't keep myself away from it. Hiya! My name is Saskia, I am 19 years old and currently studying (BA) Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. My hobbies include playing rugby and watching f1. I completed my A-levels in 2025, in Psychology, Biology and Maths, and I specialise in teaching psychology (A-level). I love revisiting A-level topics, especially social influence and memory. In addition to this, I teach GCSE maths. After doing Maths at GCSE and A-level, I am accommodated with many techniques to assist in teaching. I completed 10 GCSEs in 2023 (at the Royal Latin School), and then went on to achieve 3 A-levels in Mathematics, Psychology and Biology. I now study Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. I have had experience in tutoring with bits of up to GCSE Maths and A-level Psychology.

I am a fully English-educated student with a strong academic background in Mathematics. I achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics and have over 3 years of tutoring experience, completing 300+ hours of lessons. I have helped many GCSE Maths students improve their grades, with several achieving Grade 8s and 9s. I also participated in the UK Maths Challenge, achieving the highest score in my school, which developed my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Teaching Style My teaching style is student-centred, patient, and adaptable. I first identify the areas a student finds difficult and then break each topic down into simple, manageable steps. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and guided practice before encouraging students to tackle questions independently. I place particular emphasis on exam technique. I help students understand different question types, show their working clearly, avoid common mistakes, and apply their knowledge to unfamiliar problems. I adapt each lesson to the student's ability and goals, whether they are aiming to secure a pass or achieve a Grade 8 or 9. Proudest Achievements One of my proudest achievements is helping many GCSE Maths students achieve Grade 8s and 9s. Seeing students progress from struggling with a topic to confidently answering exam-style questions is extremely rewarding and is one of the main reasons I enjoy tutoring. I am currently studying Medicine. My education has provided me with a strong foundation in Mathematics, science, and analytical problem-solving. I achieved an A in A-Level Mathematics and have over 3 years of tutoring experience, with more than 300 hours of teaching. During this time, I have specialised in GCSE Mathematics, working with students of different abilities and helping many students achieve Grade 8s and 9s. My main specialisation is GCSE Mathematics, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, number, and problem-solving. I also have extensive experience with exam preparation, helping students improve their exam technique, identify common mistakes, and approach unfamiliar questions with greater confidence. I have not yet completed my university degree as I am currently studying Medicine. My academic and tutoring experience has allowed me to develop strong communication, patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, which I apply to every lesson.

I am a third-year Biomedicine student at UEA with three years of tutoring experience. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, using clear explanations, diagrams, exam techniques and past papers to strengthen understanding and build confidence. My structured, supportive approach has consistently helped students improve by at least one I am currently in my 3rd year of Biomedicine at the University of East Anglia and have completed 2 internships during my time here. I achieved 10 GCSEs all at A*/A and A-Level grades of A*, A in Maths & Biology. I aim to make learning engaging, build confidence and help students reach their full potential.
