I graduated from Lancaster University with a Bsc in Mathematics and Statistics 2025 and have been teaching on the GoStudent platform for nearly 4 years now teaching children aged 9-17. I spent a gap year working as a teaching assistant in my local primary school where I primarily worked with year 6. However, I also had experience with years 3,4 and 5. I will also be doing placements in a further two secondary schools and a primary school for my qualifications at university My main hobby is gaming and esports such as Overwatch where I used to play professionally and reached top 100 ranked in Europe. I now play on the university team and also coached players to help them improve! I'm a Mathematics and Data Science graduate of the London School of Economics, and I now run a startup that uses machine learning in drug discovery, so I put the maths I teach to work every day. I studied Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry at A-level, earning an A* in Maths, and I'm a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad. I tutor Maths, Physics and Computer Science from GCSE through A-level, and I also prepare students for university admissions tests and Oxbridge applications. Having recently sat these exams myself, I know exactly where students get stuck. My approach is patient and diagnostic: I find the gap, rebuild from there, and focus on real understanding and problem-solving rather than memorising. Most of all, I love helping students go from dreading a subject to feeling confident and capable in it. I attended St Paul's School, where I took A-levels in Mathematics (A*), Physics (A), Computer Science (A) and Chemistry (A), along with an A* EPQ in electrical and systems engineering. At GCSE I earned seven grade 9s, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, and four grade 8s. I then studied for a BSc in Mathematics and Data Science at the London School of Economics (LSE), with coursework spanning machine learning, optimisation, real and complex analysis, probability and statistics, graph theory and algorithms. Alongside my degree I completed Harvard's CS50 and an MIT course in mathematics for finance. My specialisations are Maths, Physics and Computer Science at GCSE and A-level, and preparing students for university admissions tests (STEP, TMUA and ESAT) and Oxbridge applications. I'm also a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad, which is exactly the kind of problem-solving these entrance exams reward.

Hi, I’m Sean Brown, a passionate and dedicated science teacher who enjoys making learning meaningful, engaging, and accessible to every student. I believe science is more than memorizing facts—it’s about understanding how the world works and developing curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. As a tech-savvy educator, I enjoy integrating digital tools, multimedia resources, visual aids, and interactive activities into my lessons to make challenging concepts easier to understand. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, exploring ideas, and learning at their own pace. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, major in Physical Sciences, which provided me with a strong foundation in Physics, Chemistry, and other areas of science, along with effective teaching strategies and classroom practices. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Education, majoring in General Science, further developing my knowledge and skills in science education.

Hi I'm Callum. I'm a vet student at the University of Cambridge. I currently hold a Cambridge BA degree in zoology and nearly at the end of my veterinary medicine degree. I have a range of teaching experience varying from sports coaching, teaching at a riding school and tutoring. I look forwards to being to help and work with you to reach your goals. I went to a local secondsry school and sixth form college where I completed my GCSE's and A-levels. Throughout I found myself tutorig for each starting with family and friends and then progressing further. I Achieved top grades for both. I then began a veterinary medicine degree at the University of Cambridge and intercalated achieving a BA in zoology. I did modules in vertebrate and mammalian evolution, biochemistry, genetics and animal behaviour. I'm currently in my final couple of years of my veterinary course.
