Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a final year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. Currently on track for a 1st class degree. I also achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. Along with gaining an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for over 2 years. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where I have just completed a summer internship at PwC, which has lead to a full time graduate offer for September 2027. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths, Science and Chemistry.

My name is Harrison, I am studying electrical engineering at the University of Nottingham. I am passionate about tutoring particularly GCSE and A level Maths. My hobbies include Jiu-Jitsu where I occasionally participate in tournaments and the robotics society at the University of Nottingham working on PCB design and control systems. I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. Hi! I’m Lucy and I am a Policy and Legislation Lead within the UK Civil Service. I have been doing this for nearly 5 years, following having studied at the University of Bristol. I studied BSc Management. In my spare time, I love playing and listening to music and being outside! I have a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Bristol. Hi, my name is Aoife, I am 18 years old and currently a first year law student at the University of Leeds (and an aspiring human rights lawyer!). My special subject is English, primarily English literature. My highest academic achievements are my 3 A levels (A* in politics, A in history, B in English literature). I am willing to tutor the English subject to year groups 9-11 in secondary as I believe this is when that extra boost in confidence is so important! My passion for English is reflected in my GCSE grades too - achieving a grade 9 in English language and grade 8 in English literature. I have previous experience with children with SEN needs such as autism and ADHD, shaping my teaching style as one of patience and prioritising clarity without exerting pressure on a student. I personally struggled with confidence in both primary and secondary school, and going through tutoring myself helped with this enormously. For secondary school I attended Carr Manor Community school, achieving GSCEs all grade 7 and above.
