Hi! I’m currently studying a maths engineering degree at university and I can’t wait to use the skills I’ve learned to help students with maths and science. I understand what it’s like to struggle with a STEM subject, so I approach my tutoring from a place of patience and sympathy. When a student doesn’t understand a concept, I focus on finding out exactly what piece of the puzzle they are missing, and will re-explain the idea in a way that works for them, as everyone learns differently! For secondary school I attended South Hampstead High School and took my GCSE’s and A Levels there. For my GCSEs I received a nine in maths, English literature , all three sciences, geography and computer science, and an eight in French, art and English Language. For my A levels I received an A star in maths, further maths and physics, and an A in computer science. Currently I’m loving studying an Engineering Mathematics degree at the University of Bristol and I just completed my first year. I’m set to do an integrated masters there as well.

I'm a Maths grad, currently working in the tech industry, having studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level. Outside of work I'm a keen runner and hiker, who loves spending time outdoors outdoors or exploring London, and enjoys getting lost reading a great book! I attended Peter Symonds college for A-levels, where I took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. At Bath University I studied Mathematical Sciences, allowing me to dabble in physics while I focussed on Maths. Since university, I have studied again in Software Engineering and continue to learn constantly in my job.

Studying Computer Science at Lancaster University, currently I am doing a placement year in AI at DXC Technology. Besides academics, I am into sports, art and gym! Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at Lancaster University, on track to get a 1st. I am now doing a placement year in AI at DXC Technology, and formerly interned at Bank of New York. I went to bradford grammar school, where I achieved 9s in Maths, Further Maths, Sciences, English, Computer Science and more. I am a dedicated and patient tutor , aiming to help students build their confidence in their chosen subjects. I am focussed on making learning engaging and clear while supporting students to achieve the best in their exams. Outside of my studies i enjoy playing sports such as cricket and football! I have achieved six grade 9s , three grade 8s and two grade 7s at GCSEs at Wolverhampton Girls High School. I am in year 13 and aiming high for my a levels , currently predicted A*A*Ain Maths, Computer Science and Chemistry. I have previously volunteered at the city library to tutor programming so i can build some experience for this job.

I'm a recent grad from Warwick University, while I was there I enjoyed playing dodgeball, going for hikes and learning the guitar. I look forward to seeing movies at the cinema and cycling on the weekends as well as visiting museums and galleries. I also have a pet cat. I completed a BSc in Mathematical Statistics (with Computer Science) at the University of Warwick. My course was intensive, covering broad areas of pure and applied maths, theoretical statistics, statistical modelling and programming. As many of my modules were geared towards data science, much of my learning culminated in an undergraduate research project in machine learning - exploring how machines encode information on the neuron-level.
