Hello! My name is Najma and I study History at the University of Birmingham. I studied History, English Lit and Religious Studies at A-Level so I understand the stresses that come with essay-based subjects! Throughout my life, I have been taught by some incredible tutors and I hope that I can not only help you succeed in your exams, but also grow in confidence. I aim to make the sessions as relaxed as possible as I know how stressful school can get. My sessions will be tailored to you, ensuring that your academic needs are met. Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. One student was able to pass his foundation paper after multiple attempts. Another student did so well ina school test that he moved up from doing the foundation paper to the higher paper and one other student recieved the required level for his first choice of university. About you: I'm a PhD graduate and have experience teaching at a wide range of ages. I have a keen interest in films and play bridge. I have even played bridge for England. I have both a Masters degree and PhD from the University of Sheffield in mathematics. While at university I assisted in running tutorials for undergraduate students. As an assistant demonstrator I led classes through an example question at the front while encouraging them to take part in working through the problem together. I also answered any questions they may have had individually. For certain modules I marked the students’ homework.

I'm a 5th year medical student based in London, with thirteen years of tutoring experience. I've trained students for 11+ entrance exams, scholarship exams to private schools such as Colfe's, Blackheath High and City of London and worked professionally as a GCSE / A-level teacher in schools across England.
