Hi I'm Charlie. I'm a Master's graduate in Physics and currently undertaking a PhD in Astrophysics while working as a postgraduate teaching assistant. I know through experience how difficult physics and maths can be and am in a position to help students by breaking topics down into manageable components. In summer 2025 I graduated with a first class master's degree in physics with astrophysics and cosmology. I began a PhD in astrophysics in October 2025 and have been working as a teaching assistant since then for varied courses in physics from master's level computer labs to first-year mathematics.

I can tutor English (Language, Literature, and/or Creative Writing) at any Key Stage (my speciality is GCSE but I'm happy to teach at lower years, or A-level too). I have ESL student experience and am trained in TEFL. I have experience and training in tutoring for retakes, GCSE retakes specifically. I studied Creative Writing in the English faculty of the University of Winchester at Undergraduate and then the University of Exeter at Postgraduate. I achieved the highest grade in both, and will soon be pursuing an English PhD. I am 21 years old and I am currently studying English Literature at Durham University. I absolutely love to travel and I am a qualified ski instructor and have done two seasons teaching in Canada and New Zealand. I am also a keen runner and I am currently training for a charitable half marathon. Additionally, I absolutely love literature! My favourite books are 'The Great Gatsby,' and 'The Unbearable Lightness of Being' and 'The Picture of Dorian Gray.' I attended King's High School for Girls for my whole secondary education. I studied History, Geography and English Literature at A level during covid and received an A* in all three subjects.
